A Kitten and a Puppy ...

in two different households of the inner core of a family

It has been a time of getting acquainted with a kitten across the miles. The brief meeting during Halloween weekend in the U.K. The trick or treating and dressing up. The whole of half term of costumes galore in my neighbourhood, before travelling across country to Wales. The enchanting pumpkins on driveways on the aisle of Anglesey ... made a welcome sight on from the days when Pumpkin soup and carvings of these Jack a lanterns was the recipe in a kitchen that eventually fell silent to such tradions in our core room in a home of the wrong abundance ... 

A few weeks later little did I know the murmurs of getting a dog earlier in the year of my family in Kernow were about to happen... and whilst I happen to be there at the time too of .... 

The now early beginnings of puppy scents, tail wag greetings and those puppy dog eyes The grounding time of those homecomings of collecting a pup from a farm ... the travel out on muddy lanes and stunning bleak grey mists views of a well known land. This the very first journey home for another new born of the animal kind ... 

It is not the first time I have done this ... It was a feeling more than amazing .... The debut trip will now be followed up by a trip to the vets for the routine procedures that goes with any young animal being ... 

The smells a talking point

this last half a year ... the staff in tales of being put off their food. Today was rather another pungent  time which continues to hang in the air tonite. 

And that's it for a while here for me too. A rest up of a different kind. A playful pup to entertain. The hill walking again. The brisk coastal air to blow away the ills. The cosy fires of an evening....

In the meantime a wind down time, in transition. The mish mash of thoughts here and there. 

The Christmas lights readied in a town like many others on the travels. The skyline dramatic again last night. It was too overcast today for such a spectacle on this evening on the walk back home ...

And if I don't fall asleep .... time for a dip to get cleaned up .

Another new addition of the furry kind

this time a puppy in Kernow. This is Poppy in my Mums arms. We pick her up next week ... I will hope to get the delight of this homecoming if plans fall into place ...

Now everyone is looking to see whether I will have a pet! I like my freedom ... and I am sure the animals do too ... 

A Spooktacular weekend

pumpkins plenty lighting up driveways. The castle theme activities, set up for the young people at one of the fortresses, the ancient sites on an island. Which is the case across the lands wide, near and far ...

We enjoyed the tea room experience of the more quintessential Bristish traditions, albeit on a typical Bristish tourist street ... All very different to the times that came. The time is very different in the evolving change. Though sitting in the tea room; it felt like only yesteryear...

... The blues in Winter ...

the beautiful colours of an Autumn 🍂 ; after a brief visit to one of the many isles of the British Isles... 

The coastal panoramic with the views of the mountain range; a real change again .... A familiar country though new to this part in the area selected for a mystery trip.  The culture of hearing the local language I never thought I get to hear in real time again ...

Bagsy this room !...

I will enjoy the much needed extra hour in this room when we transfer from BST to GMT this Autumnal weekend ... although I am already awake to enjoy the view out the window when the sun is up soon.. We enjoyed and captured a dynamic dramatic Sun down last evening .... 

I wonder where this detached bungalow is situated ?
