I was not the only slow thing today ... but then everything seemed slow ... focus was the most difficult again ... so I thought about ... photos ... and journeys taken this year ... more so on the train ... 

Trains are so fast and can be sleek depending on where you are going ... certainly changed since I last used them so regularly  ... with the slam doors no longer ... although I did see these in the sidings up north. Also some disused tracks ... when I wasn't asleep ... 

I met some friendly people on last trip in London ... it was so unusual to be tapped on the shoulder by a friendly stranger ...  in the middle of London ... that usually happens in rural places ... I probably being a bit unfair ... but life is sometimes more interesting when you travel alone ... 

trying to focus on the here and now ... not easy ...
