The fact that I have had a more usual access to life around me, this last week or so. Although I am now tainted from my unnecessary experience; some of us go through in life and death ... I have been exposed to the news ... more ... with my time with Mum ...

At the turn of the millennium we were living by a river in the Uk on full alert ... My daughter and I evacuated ... my husband stayed ...
New Builds on flood plains ... flood defences ... after the knowledge of flooding ... we have still carry on ... again until the horse has bolted does it make headlines and some action short term ... but hardly long term ... The thinking of the long term is not thought out with the misery and stress caused for weeks on end drying out the property ... like mine for different reasons ...
I am three years later still living with the home not fully restored .... or operational ...
