... in time for feet up ... a day of hills, hamlets, trees and more trees, water, bridges. cows, a calf, swallows, a picnic out, the old fashioned telephone box, a water pump, quaint in the quirky. This only a part of the reacquaintance of life, in life from life once past. This my country part.
The city part of life past, still to be fully reacquainted, the change in Exhibition Road only for starters. The visit back to a once local store to get bread, muesli and other supplies in a well known store in Knightsbridge. The milkshake bar and the craft department, especially the special sales or at Christmas time. I have seen the recent window displays on bypassing this way out of the city to get here. The last time, in March was by the houseboats, which I took a real interest in, on the River Thames. The fascination in life on the river in a city, like in my childhood town. This making the news recently, with the tragic killing of a once MP living here.
